Around the world - there are thousands of locations facing similar systemic problems - and we care deeply about expanding reach to new locations. This happens most frequently by expanding work in a single community to nearby locations - but can also begin with leaders who have a specific passion for a new area or people group.
Core funding allows our leadership team to evaluate new communities where we believe meaningful change can take root, and launch strategic initiatives that empower Catalysts to enter new locations effectively.

One of the biggest challenges One Collective faces is identifying and recruiting potential workers and Catalysts.
Long-term community transformation requires big life changes and a lot of commitment from One Collective staff serving around the world. Finding the courage to follow a calling to global work often means setting aside traditional career paths - and pursuing radically different ways of doing life alongside others.
Core funding allows One Collective to equip key staff members dedicated to working with potential Catalysts and workers from the moment they express interest - all the way to field deployment. Alongside this team, strategic marketing efforts are implemented across diverse recruitment areas to ensure that people who are considering global work have access to opportunities to serve.

Equipping Catalysts and empowering local leaders to take ownership of change happening in their communities are key elements of strategy around the world.
Core funding allows for the development of curriculum and support resources that serve all communities where work is happening - training local leaders and One Collective staff to effectively implement key growth factors like social entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, and relational development.
Leadership development for One Collective Staff looks like weeklong training gatherings before deployment, ongoing support from a dedicated member care team, and virtual group courses on critical strategy elements throughout a worker’s serving journey.
Your support also enables intensive gatherings of global leadership where every Catalyst gets the chance to gather ideas about how others are creating change in their communities - and hear from One Collective leadership about core updates to strategy that will be developed over the next few years.
